Paul Hoggard From The Endzone: John A Holmes Prepares For Fourth Round Game Against Warren County

John A Holmes gets set to go on the road to Warren County Friday night with swagger, energy, and playing with house money as they try to advance to the regional final next Friday night. This young junior heavy team started this season 0-4, but has gone through a lot of growing pains finding themselves in a strong run of momentum.

“The first thing that sticks out is athletic; they are very athletic; they fly around, won a bunch of football games and had a great year, a very successful year so it's going to be a huge challenge for us.”

Executing Against Warren County

“I don't know if you can stop it but we are going to try to slow it down and their players make plays and we gotta try to have some players on our end that try to negate some of those plays.”

“We got to do a good job with that. The thing with that for us as far as the throw game is we got to establish the run. We are going to run option football and if you are able to do that well that will slow the pass rush down.”
